Kobold Professional Chronograph
Introducing the Kobold Professional Chronograph, equipped with a rare and extremely slim hand wound chronograph caliber Valjoux 7760 and an original, new-old-stock vintage 1970s case. The movement of this limited edition was modified to display the sundials in the traditional tri-compax style, its subdials being at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. Only 100 pieces are available and as part of Kobold's celebrations of 25th anniversary, is made available at an exceptionally low price.
A uni-directional rotating bezel with a count-up minute scale make this timepiece ideal for pilots.
Following the passing of its founding father, master watchmaker Gerd-R. Lang, Kobold secured Mr. Lang's archive and case making tools, as well as a large quantity of vintage cases and movements from the 1920s, 1940s, 1950s and 1970s. To honor Mr. Lang and his significant contribution to the field of horology, Kobold is releasing a number of limited edition watches he envisioned but never completed or designed but did not bring to market.
The Kobold Professional ships in April 2026. Customer who place an order for this watch will receive a Kobold Seal or Kobold Soarway Diver as a loaner watch within two weeks. The loaner watch may be worn and returned to Kobold in used condition at the time that the Professional Chronograph ships.
The Professional Chronograph arrives on Kobold's Original Canvas Expedition Strap. Stainless steel bracelet optional.
The watch is covered by a 10-year warranty against material defects and inferior workmanship.
