In 2004, the legendary actor James Gandolfini designed the the original Kobold Seal, which soon became the most popular Kobold watch. To commemorate the life and times of James Gandolfini, who passed away in 2013, Kobold is proud to announce the Kobold Seal Ceramic in a limited edition of 51 watches.

Fashioned from white ceramic and featuring a polished titanium bezel with white ceramic inlay, the Seal Ceramic is instantly recognizable. An extra-thick meteorite dial features the late actor's name. The aerospace-grade titanium casebook features an engraving of a seal, the watch's namesake marine mammal. 

The Seal is the most iconic Kobold watch. Often imitated but never successfully copied, the legendary Seal has a striking look thanks to its oversized rotating bezel and small face.

The heft of the Seal is due to its bulk -43mm diameter and 17mm height- and its internal soft iron core, which protects its Swiss automatic-winding mechanism from the effects of magnetism.

The Seal is also equipped with a secondary shock absorption system that is part of the case. Its strap is secured to the case with a pair of screw-locked lug bars. A screw-locked stainless steel buckle prevents the Seal from inadvertently coming off your wrist.

Of course, you'll be asked by awe-struck strangers to take it off for a closer inspection. That's when the Seal's many intricate design queues, such a the beveled edges on its lugs and the hand-applied brushed surface finish, will impress even the most avid watch aficionados. There's nothing quite like the Seal.

The watch is covered by a 10-year warranty against material defects and inferior workmanship.
