One look at the face of this watch and you'll understand why the name Pandemonium stuck. It looks like total chaos, when in fact it is precision watchmaking at its peak.
The Pandemonium, America's first fully skeletonized chronograph, was designed and produced in collaboration with master watchmaker Gerd-Ruediger Lang, one of the Founding Fathers of Kobold. The Pandemonium gets its name from one of Asia's most prolific watch and art collectors, Prithivi Bahadur Pande, for whom the watch was originally created. It is a genuine work of art and is an example of mechanical watchmaking at its finest. At the core of the Pandemonium lies its carefully skeletonized, automatic-winding chronograph movement. The beautifully finished bridges are rhodium plated and feature perlage pattern decoration. In order to obstruct the movement as little as possible, Kobold modified the Pandemonium's movement to display the date out of the center. In addition, the chronograph sub-dials for minutes and hours have been omitted. However, the chronograph's mechanical function remains fully intact, so that the Pandemonium gives its wearer a look into the inner workings of this horological complication. The Pandemonium is by far the most ambitious watch Kobold has ever produced. It ranks right up there with the Kobold Polar Surveyor Chronograph and the Kobold Soarway Transglobe in terms of ingenuity. Yet the flawless execution of this masterpiece requires an even greater set of skills. The Pandemonium arrives on a genuine Louisiana alligator strap. 5-year warranty. Assembled in USA from domestic and imported components. Production limited to 10 pieces per year.
