Over the past 13 years, Kobold watches have continually evolved.  While the first chronographs bearing the Kobold brand name were once produced and assembled in Switzerland, most of today’s models contain a great many U.S.-made components and are assembled in our modern facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Often imitated but never successfully copied, Kobold watches are manufactured using the most durable materials and finest craftsmanship.  Traditionally, a Kobold watch is chosen for its accuracy, subtle lines and superior quality.  Increasingly, however, our customers are seeking an American alternative to Swiss and German watches.  Which is why we continue to refine our American timepieces by investing heavily in our U.S. production.

As the company’s founder, I personally design every Kobold watch and ensure that each and every one meets my personal expectations of quality.  As always, I guarantee that no more than a sum total of 2,500 Kobold watches will ever be made in a given year, a practice my competitors would dismiss as uneconomical.  I now invite to discover the adventurous world of Kobold!
